What is the Career Fit Test?
This is a free career fit test that matches how you like to work to the kinds of roles that suit you. Instead of testing what you know, it asks you to rate thirty-six short statements, then ranks you across six work-style types and turns that ranking into concrete career directions with real roles to explore.
It is made for people mid-pivot: anyone who knows their current path is not it, but is not yet sure what to aim for. You do not need a background in any particular field. You just answer honestly about what energises you and what drains you, and the test does the matching.
The methodology behind this test
This is a self-rating test, not a knowledge test, so there are no right answers. It sorts you across six work-style types, and each type is measured by an equal number of statements, so no direction gets an unfair head start in your result.
The six types, Maker, Investigator, Creator, Helper, Driver, and Organizer, are based on the long-established Holland career-interest model (often called RIASEC), renamed in plain language for people changing careers. Every statement maps to exactly one type, and the statements are interleaved so the test never shows you which type a question scores while you answer. That keeps your responses honest and the ranking fair.
How are my matches calculated?
Every statement is rated on a five-point scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree, worth zero to four points. Your points are added up per type, shown as a percentage of the maximum for that type, and the six types are ranked from strongest to weakest fit.
Your top one or two types are your best-fit directions. If your top two scores land within a few points of each other, you are a blend, and roles that combine both will suit you best.
